327th Yearly Meeting of NCYM (Conservative)

Seventh Month (July) 10 - 14, 2024

Theme: Kinship with All Creation

Come to Greensboro, NC this summer to join in sharing how the natural world has influenced our spirituality and to see the Biblical tradition through new eyes as Randy Woodley shares with us his Indigenous perspective. “Randy identifies strongly with issues of eco-justice, diversity, and racial justice. He has found the sweet spot of sharing difficult truths, in the spirit of love and acceptance through his teachings and writings. Randy’s authentic and timely messages dig to the root of our own imbalanced and unjust systems in an effort to restore us all to ways of harmony.” https://www.randywoodley.com/about

Come and connect with Friends from the region, stay in the dorms, attend business sessions (including the query responses from all of our meetings!), eat and converse in the cafeteria, enjoy Bible study, deep thirst-quenching worship, thoughtful speakers and many opportunities to share our experience of the Spirit. You can come on Wednesday afternoon and stay through Sunday noon, OR make your own schedule. There will also be a Zoom option. You choose what feeds you.

Children of all ages love the age-appropriate independence of living on campus and participating in their own program which includes visiting local sites for recreation and learning, Quaker-grounded religious activities, and lots of fun. The children's program runs Wednesday afternoon through Sunday noon (with children spending nights with their families.)

YM in person at Guilford College with Zoom options for some sessions.
Schedule and program details below (subject to change as the Spirit directs).
Only day visitors and virtual attendees can register after 6/22.
Overnight accommodations not available available for late registrations.
